The Service

Compassion At Home is the first solely at-home euthanasia service for companion pets in the St. John’s area. Some veterinary clinics will offer this service to a select clientele.

Compassion At Home is a registered and licensed veterinary clinic with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Veterinarians. At this time, we do not practice veterinary medicine that is outside the scope of that described throughout this website.

This service incorporates a telephone consultation, travel to your home, physical examination, sedation, euthanasia and options for your pet’s remains after they have passed. We offer appointments on an evening and weekend basis with 24 to 48 hours recommended to ensure we can offer you an appointment.

In order to ensure the safety of all those involved, services must be paid prior to the visit. Currently, we accept email money transfers.
